Resort good, spa services disappointing!

Very nice resort, all staff veey kind.

Lotus Spa is overpriced for the quality of the services they offer. Some of the therapusts they don't even know the body muscles to offer a proper medical massage and the second half of my appountment of Turkush bath, , the therapist did it in a rush and i had to remove myself the face mask, which was just a thin layer of cream that didn't hydrate at all. Very, very low quality service and high prices in Lotus Spa!

Wonderful

That's my sixth stay in Minamark hotel and really it's the best one of them . Everything was really good and the deep care of details from the hotel management made the difference. Quality of food this year especially the lunch was better than the previous years . Also, I want to thank all the staff members who made my vacation more comfortable especially Mohamed from the reception , Melanie and Tatiana from guest relations department , Mahmoud from house keeping team and Salama house keeping supervisor .

Good location and value for money.

The cleaning staff especially Mohammed was amazing.... he deserves a raise. The location is perfect for me as i like a busy street.

the Toilet as in my room (209) there was no room to sit in a central position as the shower screen was next to the toilet.

Top location, nice beach. Personel really works hard to maintain cleanliness. Animation team amazing!

What was the highlight of MinaMark Beach Resort

Bang average hotel but enjoyed the sun

The entrance to the hotel and the pool and beach facilities were good! They were clean and tidy. One of the life guards was great with the kids and even instructed him on a better swimming technique. The house keeper Mahmoud was fantastic and our room was spotless daily, even popping over with chocolates for the children at one point.

Minamark seem to put families with young children in the rooms at the front of the hotel, which is on a busy main road in Hurghada. There is excessive beeping throughout the night by drivers and it keeps you awake a lot of the night! The room was dated and shabby, in dire need of re-grouting throughout the room and a lick of paint wouldn’t go amiss. Considering you are charged $5 a night for WiFi it is absolutly awful. We couldn’t get it in our room, and when you use it poolside you have to constantly login to different ones before eventually it tells you you’ve logged in too many times! Checking out: we went back up to the room at 11.30 to collect our bags, and we were locked out (check out is 12) so had to ask the housekeeper to let us in to collect our bags. following checking out at midday, we were given a yellow wrist band so we could eat at the hotel at lunch, we went up to the sunshine restaurant, where a man had a list of rooms with how many people per room on it, next to our room it said 2 (there was 5 of us). We had walked past and said hi to the same person all week. We went to reception who sorted it, but no apology, he just spoke to the manager in Arabic, who then wrote on the paper and the person from the restaurant just walked off without saying anything. It took us to stand there for a minute for the manager to gesture us to go. We were told to hand our towel cards in for 4pm, when we did this they cut our wrist band off and told us from that point on we weren’t allowed past the lobby. I don’t know what the issue with going to sit by the pool is!

Wonderful

The staff is pleasant and helpful. I want to thank Mr. RAUOF who cleaned our room number 702. He was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was always very nicely cleaned and he never forgot to decorate our beds with towels. Thank you very much and we wish the hotel to have more and more such employees.

Wonderful

We spent a very pleasant vacation at the hotel and we were very satisfied with everything /4 adults and 3 children/. The food was very good, and the selection was wide. Cleaning the rooms every day and the very nice cleaner Rooaf was very helpful, the bartender Izaac was also very friendly. The entire staff of the hotel was very pleasant and smiling, which improves the final impression of the stay. The only drawback is the smaller beach, but we had no problem finding a place every day, even if there were more of us. The beach is sandy, which was good for children, and there are also corals, which were very nice for snorkeling, and the water is beautiful and clean. The hotel is located on a busy main street, but we didn't notice it at all and that's good because in the evening you can go out for a walk and shop and enjoy the busy authentic life in Egypt, taste local specialties and the like. Overall, the ratio of hotel quality and price is completely satisfactory and we will definitely consider returning to the hotel. Rooms 722 and 726, thank you.

Nice place, definitely will go back.

Receptionist were very welcoming and helpful specially Rose when she knew that we are a new wed, she tried to make our stay more special.

The location is really great, in the heart of Hurghada and got a beach area. So you would have everything around you.

Wonderful

This was my fifth time here at Minamark hotel . As usual all the staff members were helpful cheerful and friendly especially Salama from the house keeping team . Food was good and had many varieties. Overall I enjoyed my stay .

Good

Everything was good, the staff there specifically Hasan the receptionist was professional. The food was clean ,tasty but boring. I had some trouble with the room, they changed it as soon as possible, that was nice.

The thing I didn’t like is that I went to the show to attend the last song they told me it’s ok to sit , then one man came and told me it’s not allowed without reservation and that I have to leave according to boss orders, the song had been finished and all people were leaving including me so it was just strange when you are about to leave and someone tells you hey you have to leave you are not allowed to sit here. It was kind of rude and embarrassing thing. I didn’t like that behavior.

Very nice experience for a resonable price

The staff was very helpful and not pushy. They were very reactive in responding to any requests. There was a good selection of food that changed every day, however the best taste was when they focused on the Egyptian food - so a recommendation for the hotel is to do more of this kind of food because they are good at it :)

There were a lot of other guests playing lound music on the beach and disturbing others, (sometimes multiple guests at the same time) and the hotel staff was not reacting on this.

Not bad if you are into ALL INCLUSIVE hotels

Excellent location if you like being in the centre of town. Rooms were ok but are definitely not a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was tiled really poorly and although it did not bother it would bother anyone thinking they are getting a 4 star hotel. The staff were friendly enough.

The food was pretty poor, we stayed in another ALL INCLUSIVE hotel the previous night and the food was better apart from the dessert and we paid half the price of this place. The beach was small and packed so you couldn't get a sunbed. The pool was small so there were few sunbeds. Entertainment was pretty poor too. However, we are not the type of people that normally book ALL INCLUSIVE hotels but we thought we would try a few of them. I am sure it would suit a lot of people as it can help avoid some hassle. We prefer to book an apartment or hotel with breakfast and try the local restaurants.
